Mark has significant recent technical leadership achievements. He directed the cloud strategy at Exobox, where he was promoted to CTO. Based on his work, the company earned the "Cool Cloud Vendor" classification from Gartner. He received a Golden Creativity Award from Dresser Industries for his innovative work. He has authored books and several software patents, and created a geological research software, “Ezdip”, based on mathematical optimization, which was later acquired by Paradigm, one of the leaders in energy exploration, and is still widely used throughout the world. He has consulted on Hadoop and Big Data to Deutsche Telecom, T-Mobile, GHX, Intel, Bank of America and Bay Area startups. He has a law degree, a Masters degree in Computer Science, and a Masters degree in Mathematics. He speaks about 10 languages, is a Mensa member, and writes daily on the blog Talmud Illuminated.
Pat Kerr

Pat has 20+ years of experience in managing small to mid-sized programs for a major governmental agency. While contributing to the construction of the $100 billion International Space Station he has developed a broad experience base in all aspects of project management, contract negotiations and hardware/software design, development, test, and certification for flight and delivery.
Paula S. DeWitte
Senior Data Scientist
Paula holds a PhD in computer science, a JD and has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on data science and legal technologies. Paula also owns and operates her own law firm in Houston, Texas. Her interests include eDiscovery practices and technology, Technology Assisted Review (TAR) systems with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and data mining for biomedical and marketing applications. In her free time, she is active in the local community and an avid cyclist.
Amit Rathore
Amit advises the company on technology and product strategy. His technical expertise includes dynamic languages, big data, machine learning & predictive analytics, and distributed web-scale systems. He is the CTO & VP of Engineering at Runa, and was part of the founding team. He is responsible for all aspects of product design and development: market research, feature design, planning and scheduling, development, quality, and delivery. He also manages hiring, having grown the team from scratch in the Bay Area, CA and in Bangalore, India. He is also the outward facing persona for the company - and is involved in the community (started the Bay Area user groups for Clojure, Datomic, and Lean Software Development). Randy Weber
Randy Weber advises the company on strategy, go-to-market execution, sales, and marketing. He is the Vice President of Sales at Zapproved, where he was an early employee. He is responsible for total revenue and customer acquisition cost, and has been instrumental in building the company into one of the recognized leaders in the legal hold software market. Prior to Zapproved, Randy led several global sales and business development programs at Agilent Technologies. Randy holds an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Vassil Rousev
Vassil Roussev" is a professor of Computer Science at the University of New Orleans. He is also an expert in computer forensics, teaching courses and leading research on that subject.
